In a Press Release, the Air Force Command Headquarters Explains the Matter Regarding “F-16V Near Collision During Trial Flight Due to Miscommunication”. (December 13th, 2018)

In regard to the media coverage of “F-16V Near Collision During Trial Flight Due to Miscommunication”, the Air Force Command Headquarters has stated today (13th) that the air traffic control at the Ching-Chuan-Kang base tower implements aircraft approach and departure control in accordance with the Air Traffic Management Procedures and standard phraseology, hence there have been no incidents such as near collision in mid air, air miss, or communication barriers. The media coverage is proven to be a misrepresentation.

The Air Force Command Headquarters has furthered stated that civilians can be reassured as the flight management of military and civilian aircrafts are highly professional, and each safety control procedure is strictly implemented with high standards to ensure the flight safety of aircrafts.
